Robert Frost, Pablo Neruda, Lord Byron, Percy Shelley, Alfred Tennyson, William Yeats, Lady Mary Wroth and countless others had their own styles. However, reading through Shakespeare’s forms of iambic pentameter, his contradictory couplets at the end, his themes carried from one to another, it all made enough of an impression that I thought I would try my hand at one.
